About this Site

This is one of those places you happen upon in a neighborhood. This property is the basis of this site. People talk about this house, buyers have wanted this house. Agents on the other hand have reservations about showing the house.

What amazes me is that they can resist. I have had this property on it’s own site, and know that it gets traffic, so people are curious. The question is why it isn’t shown more.

Why is it that people aren’t requesting more showings, or why are agents showing other properties more? Ultimately with the amount of interest the property gets, why don’t agents make offers on the property if a client is inclined to want it?

As an update, this property did sell in 2011. It had been on the market for a couple of years. It did get price reductions, but any one, at any time could have made an offer.

The BuyingSeattle blog site was set up to explore some of those questions about why buyers don’t ask for more service from the agents they hire. It’s meant to be a resource for you to find an agent that will work with you, and give some basic information about Seattle.

On the blog roll you will find links to other blogs, and web sites we have. This is one of two Real Estate sites. The other site is at www.FixerFixer.com that deals more with investment in Real Estate and home renovation.

Our goal is to give you a rounded perspective about Real Estate while giving you resources you can trust.

  1. Informative site. I obtained loads of great data here. I have been watching these items for awhile. It’s intriguing the way it keeps various, but a number of the core parts keep the same.

  2. Common Sense says:

Walter Williams makes a solid point regarding immigration. I am proud of Arizona for the stance they are taking and that we haven’t backed down. The law is clear – Illegal immigrants are illegal, racial profiling is illegal, and we intend on enforcing the laws on the books. It’s nice to see cooler heads remarking on this issue. In light of Game 4 rapidly approaching – Go Suns!!

  3. Looks to be an amazing home. I hear many agents in my area speak of the so called shadow inventory. The most recent data from NAR is that the shadow inventory is roughly 2.4 mil. which might be low in my opinion as there are over 130 million households in the country. If this data is accurate it might not be as horrible as it is only roughly 2% of the countys homes.

  4. Information site for landlording, with free rental forms

  5. David Losh says:

That would be closer to 24 million homes in shadow inventory with 18 million vacant.

  6. I just like the helpful information you supply to your articles. I’ll bookmark your weblog and check once more here frequently. I am somewhat sure I will be informed many new stuff right here! Good luck for the next!
